Hello Everyone, With Summer getting closer & so much going on, we wanted to make sure you knew what is going on for us so you can be part of what we are doing. Thursday, April 29th: There is still a dance for students from 8p - 10pm, but no group class.  Brenda & Jaxon are teaching at a private event that night. Friday, April 30th: Pop-up Dance at A.R.T. from 7p - 10p.  $10 per person * For those asking me, I do not play Lavender Crest again until Friday, May 28th. Saturday, May 1st: Brenda is Teaching Argentine Tango at Q.C. Soda in Moline at 1pm * All of you who said you wanted to come, please make sure you do.  Gunter and Brenda arranged for this to happen just for you.  If you have not tried Argentine Tango before, this is a perfect time to come out and see what you've been missing. Sunday, May 2nd: Pop-up Dance at A.R.T. from 3p - 6p.  $10 per person WED MAY 5TH: (Cinco de Mayo Celebration): Milan Chamber of Commerce will be keeping dance alive with a Cinco de Mayo celebration May 5 at the American Legion Hall in Milan, Illinois. The evening includes a taco dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.; Latin and salsa dance instruction by Brenda Thames and Jaxon Boyd of A. Rhythmic Time starting at 7:00 p.m.; open dancing, starting at 7:30 p.m. and cash bar complete with Margarita specials. Free for Milan Chamber members or $7 for each Milan Chamber guest; $10 for single non-members or $18 for non-member couples. The Milan American Legion Hall is located at 515 West 1st Avenue in Milan, Illinois. Register to the Milan Chamber Cinco de Mayo celebration by calling (309) 716-8144 or milanilchamber@gmail.com.
